This gas trunkline with 900 km length starts in Gryazovets city of Vologda Region and goes to Vyborg of Leningrad Region. There it connects through Portovaya compressor station to sea pipeline Nord Stream, going to Germany on the bottom of Baltic Sea.
Trough Gryazovets a system of gas trunklines Ukhta-Torzhok is going, which continues Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas trunkline.
As a result, Yamal gas is delivered to the North-West of Russia and then to Europe. Construction of gas pipeline started in 2005. In 2011 first capacities, necessary for gas supplies to Nord Stream, were put on-stream. In next two years Gryazovets-Vyborg was enlarged with loopings with total length of 700 km; and other compressor capacities were put into operation.
SGC joined the construction in 2007 after getting some sections with 629 km total length. Besides that, Stroygazconsulting is a main contractor of Portovaya compressor station.
